Network association ‚NANONETZ BAYERN e.V.’

The objective of the network association is the support of scientific research and development of nanotechnologies and their applications. This includes also the promotion of nanotechnological content of teaching in the school and university sectors, the information of the public with regard to nanotechnological questions as well as the support of exchange of knowledge and experience to these subjects. A further objective of the network’s activities is the discussion of political, social and economic questions concerning nanotechnologies on a regional, national and international level.

The network’s activities include the

• Exchange of information and experience, transfer of knowledge with regard to nanotechnology
• Publication of a newletter for members
• Promotion of contacts between R&D institutions and users in the industry
• Support of the collective research and development in the field of nanotechnology
• Provision of information regarding public support programmes from European Commission, Federal Government and Bavarian State Government
• Organisation of congresses, workshops and symposia
• Promotion of nanotechnological content of teaching in schools and at the universities
• Stimulation of the theoretical occupation with nanotechnologies while announcing a school competition

Member can be a natural or juridical person according to the private and public jurisdiction and who promotes and supports the networks association’s objective.
