COVID guidelines

To allow for everyone to feel safe and concentrate fully on the event, we have developed the following protection and hygiene concepts. All of us are looking forward to welcoming you at the NanoCarbon Annual Conference.

With the changes to the German Infection Protection Act (IfSG), protective and hygiene measures are no longer mandatory. Nevertheless, we strongly recommend that our participants pay attention to established safety standards for their own protection and that of others. This includes, among other things, continuing to wear a mask voluntarily and maintaining a minimum distance.

If you have symptoms that could indicate an infection with SARS-CoV-2, please refrain from attending the conference.

We recommend the following safety measures:

ENTRY RESTRICTIONS – ANTIGEN TESTS
While formal restrictions such as 2G or 3G rules are no longer mandatory, we kindly ask all our participants to consider each other’s safety by taking a PoC antigen test on each conference day (no longer than 24 hours prior to joining the event).

WEAR A MASK
We ask all participants to voluntarily wear an FFP2 mask or a medical mask indoors.

WASH YOUR HANDS REGULARLY
Washing hands is a simple and effective measure that can protect against infection.

HAND SANITATION
We ensure regular options for hand hygiene for all participants. A disinfection dispenser is available at the entrances.

VENTILATION CONCEPT
We will regularly ventilate the venue to ensure the greatest possible proportion of fresh air.

CONTACT TRACING
We ask all participants of the event to inform us immediately if they should receive a positive COVID-19 test result up to 7 days after the conference. We will make then sure to notify all contacts about their exposure as soon as possible.
